A request to divert Covid-19 vaccines to Australia’s most afflicted state by the New South Wales premier has drawn the ire of other state leaders, who have turned down the call to readdress the country’s shot-sharing program.
Speaking at a televised news conference on Friday, New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian urged the federal authorities to consider diverting vaccines to the ailing state.
