Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken out against hate speech after his political opponents were given extra security detail. A ‘unity’ coalition to oust the PM was met with online hate and protests.
“I condemn all kinds of incitement and violence from any side,” Netanyahu said at a meeting of his party, Likud, as quoted by Haaretz newspaper. The PM added that incitement should be distinguished from free speech.
