US Senators Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) in an opinion editorial have proposed the creation of a regional nuclear fuel bank as an alternative to the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement, in order to provide safe atomic power.
Menendez, a Democrat, and Graham, a Republican, said they believe this new approach will allow the nuclear issue to “multilateralize” and stop the nuclear arms race in the Middle East while finding bipartisan support in the United States.
