President Vladimir Putin has greenlighted the creation of a Russian Navy logistics hub on the Red Sea, tasking the Ministry of Defence with signing a previously discussed agreement with the Sudanese government.
The proposal to set up a naval facility in the North-African country, which Putin approved on Monday, was brought forward by the Russian government last week.
