United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres recently denounced the Hamas attacks of October 7th but admitted that the group’s violent assault was not entirely unprovoked and did not exist “in a vacuum.” In response the Israeli government has accused Guterres of “blood libel” and called for his resignation.
