A new Senate bill would establish a new federal agency in charge of social media. The bill was put forward by Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren and Republican Senator Lindsay Graham. It would establish the a Digital Consumer Protection Commission to police, censor and deplatform social media as the government sees fit. Already I don’t like it. After a judge told the government to stop censoring social media, now they want a government agency that can do it for them.
