The French protests over President Macron’s bill to raise the national retirement age from 62 to 64 show no signs of abating, and even appear to be growing in Paris and elsewhere. Meanwhile Macron has indicated that he may be open to compromise, but that hasn’t stopped the French from pouring out into the streets, setting fires and generally making their displeasure with Macron’s bill known.
