US, UK, France, Germany say they’re concerned about Iran’s ‘provocative nuclear steps’ in G20 statement, urge ‘full compliance’

The United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany issued a joint statement on Saturday expressing “grave and growing concern” over Iran’s nuclear program and urging President Ebrahim Raisi to return to “full compliance.”

In the statement signed by US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the G20 conference in Rome, Italy, the world leaders warned of “the risks posed to international security by Iran’s escalating nuclear program.”
