French President Emmanuel Macron has said the conflict over fishing rights in British waters harms London’s image on the world stage. Paris threatened to hit the UK with sanctions unless the dispute is resolved.
The issue of fishing rights is “a test of their credibility” for UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his government, Macron told The Financial Times.
