Dozens of people have reportedly laid siege to the Lebanese Swiss Bank in Beirut and attacked three staff, as they demanded access to tens of thousands of dollars in a bid to alleviate dire living conditions in Lebanon.

Footage from the Lebanese capital’s Hamra neighborhood on Monday purportedly showed people throwing bank documents from the building’s windows.
