Cargo rocket launched into orbit by China will drop off stir-fried dishes for future space station staff

China on Saturday successfully launched a cargo rocket to stock up the core module of its in-construction space station, Tiangong. The supplies include traditional cuisine, even allowing the future crew to feast on fried dishes.

The Tianzhou-2 spacecraft – which will restock the core module with propellant and other supplies – was successfully launched with the Long March-7 Y3 rocket from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site on Saturday.
