Russia is to follow in America’s footsteps and withdraw from the Open Skies treaty in the near future, most likely in May, as suspicions mount in Moscow that Washington’s allies may be sharing information with US intelligence.
Speaking on Tuesday in Vienna at a meeting concerning military security, Konstantin Gavrilov, the head of Russia’s delegation on arms control, claimed other parties to the treaty had ignored Moscow’s complaints.
