‘Double standards’: North Korea condemns UN’s attempts to strip its ‘right to self-defense’ after latest missile tests

North Korea has accused the UN Security Council (UNSC) of double standards for labeling Pyongyang’s latest missile tests as a violation of UN resolutions, stating it’s an attempt to remove the “right of our state to self-defense.”

The response from North Korea’s Foreign Ministry came after the United States used a UNSC meeting to call for new sanctions following recent missile tests.
