Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has said that the sanctions-hit nation may pay for much-needed coronavirus vaccines with oil amid a rising number of infections and concerns about new strains of the virus.
“Venezuela has the oil vessels and has the customers who will buy our oil,” Maduro said, as cited by the media. “We are ready and prepared for oil for vaccines, but we will not beg anyone.”
