Israel’s Prime Minister is set to embark on his second official trip to Egypt, where he is expected to meet with Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. But despite the rapprochement, Israel’s former ambassador to the Arab country says the improving ties will not change the Egyptian public’s negative perception of the Jewish state.

While the visit of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain has been pushed to an indefinite date, reports emerge that the Israeli premier now intends to visit Egypt, where he will meet the country’s president Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
