According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a fire broke out at 3:38 pm on Wednesday at Lake Hughes. The causes of the conflagration remain unknown. Some 1,059 personnel were deployed to battle the blaze, which had still not been contained as of 7 am.
A massive wildfire has erupted north of Los Angeles, engulfing large swathes of land exceeding 10,500 acres within three hours of breaking out, the Los Angeles Fire Department announced on Wednesday.
