This week, Lee interviews the editor-in-chief of the Grayzone, Max Blumenthal. Blumenthal has made enemies of establishment media-types by questioning the official narratives thrown down by the intelligence community. One of its most recent fumbles was in Syria, where they had tried to take advantage of a civil war to topple Bashar Assad. Through his first-hand experiences and his expertise on American foreign policy, Blumenthal is able to vividly describe the complexity of the situation in Syria.
Lee opens the second half of the show by tearing apart one of the US’ most famous newspapers, the Wall Street Journal. Then, Natalie McGill finishes off the show with an update on the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, Japan.
