The multipurpose Yasen and Borey-class nuclear submarines are to be equipped with the fastest and longest-range torpedoes in the world. They will turn their carriers into real underwater monsters.
By early March, Russia had completed testing prototypes of future torpedoes for the new Yasen and Borey-class nuclear submarines, stated Boris Obnosov, head of Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation, a Russian state-owned defence company.
