More than 650,000 people have been evacuated due to Typhoon Man-yi (locally known as Pepito). The typhoon has already begun to impact the Philippines. It is the sixth major storm to hit the Philippines in the past month. The typhoon is threatening the island province of Catanduanes and the Bicol region. Pepito has maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h. Pepito has gusts of up to 240 km/h.
