On July 18, 2023, the Russia Industry and Trade Ministry stated that the Uralvagonzavod defense manufacturer, which is part of the state tech corporation Rostec, has supplied a fresh shipment of advanced T-90M Proryv and upgraded T-72B3M main battle tanks to the Russian military. The timely fulfillment of the Armed Forces’ requirements for cutting-edge and dependable equipment is overseen by the Russian Government’s Coordination Council.
The latest delivery of T-90M Proryv and upgraded T-72B3M tanks is highly sought after for carrying out missions in the special military operation area, as mentioned in the official statement. The statement also emphasized that Uralvagonzavod consistently fulfills its contracts for overhauling and deeply modernizing T-72B tanks to the T-72B3M standard, upgrading T-80BV tanks to the T-80BVM level, and manufacturing T-90M tanks from scratch. This achievement not only demonstrates the efficiency of Uralvagonzavod’s production system but also reflects the expertise and dedicated efforts of all employees within the UVZ Concern.
