Iran has rejected US proposals

Iran has rejected US proposals to suspend its 20% uranium enrichment in return for unfreezing $1 billion of its assets, Tehran’s chief negotiator has said, after a first round of talks to reinstate the 2015 nuclear deal.

Negotiator Abbas Araghchi, who is also Iran’s deputy foreign minister, revealed the development after negotiations in Vienna on Tuesday, which he said were “constructive,” according to Iranian state-run news network Press TV.
