Rick Sanchez Iran China Oil deal

China has moved to significantly increase its purchases of Iranian oil, much to the consternation of the US and its allies. RT America’s Alex Mihailovich reports on the Chinese stake in easing tensions between Washington and Tehran. Meanwhile, militias in Iraq launched a rocket attack on Monday night against a military base in Baghdad that houses US troops. RT’s Paula Slier has the details. Then former UK MP George Galloway weighs in on the unintended consequences of the US penchant for sanctions, which include greater diplomatic closeness between Iraq, Iran and China.

Disgraced former police officer Derek Chauvin awaits a criminal trial after his guilt was essentially admitted in a $27 million settlement between Minneapolis and the family of George Floyd, whose famous death sparked the ongoing nationwide movement for police reform. Is his guilt in criminal court a foregone conclusion? RT America’s Faran Fronczak joins Rick Sanchez to discuss the details.
