A woman who ended up in hospital after being kicked in the stomach by a riot cop during protests in St. Petersburg on Saturday says forgiving her offender was a mistake and she only did it due to confusion and her soft nature.
After the clip of the incident went viral and caused vast public outcry, the officer responsible visited 54-year-old Margarita Yudina in her hospital ward, bringing flowers and apologizing for his actions.
