The Latin American country already filed an appeal against Washington in the International Criminal Code (ICC) in February, arguing that US sanctions against Caracas constitute a crime against humanity.
Venezuela considers US efforts to impede the trade of its oil a violation of international law, and will appeal to the ICC in The Hague, Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza announced on Tuesday.
