Another explosion was heard from the direction of Kabul’s airport, RT’s senior correspondent Murad Gazdiev reported on Thursday. This comes as dozens have been killed and injured from a double blast at the airport earlier.
The blast went off as local authorities, the Taliban and coalition forces were still attempting to figure out what had happened during the earlier explosions. A suicide bomber reportedly detonated himself by one of the gates of Hamid Karzai International Airport and a second blast believed to be a vehicle bomb went off near a hotel used by Western forces to process refugees, kicking an already chaotic scene into even higher gear.
