The Greek government has announced new lockdowns in the regions of Thessaloniki and Serres in an effort to contain rising coronavirus cases. The restrictions include the suspension of flights.
“The health situation in Thessaloniki is serious. We must act to avoid overloading the health system,” government spokesman Stelios Petsas said on Monday.
