Ben Norton: Americans don’t want war with China, Russia (Full Show)

High stakes

Despite ongoing tensions over Ukraine, a mutual willingness to continue dialogue and work to diffuse pressure seems to be carrying the day as the US tells Russia to expect a response within the week to Russia’s concerns about European security. RT’s Peter Oliver reports the details from Europe. On the eve of said meeting, the US State Department has updated its report on the so-called disinformation and propaganda they allege in the work of news outlets RT and Sputnik. Tyrel Ventura of “Watching the Hawks” has the details. Then independent journalist Ben Norton joins Faran Fronczak to share his insights. He also weighs in on the deepening friendship between China and Russia, the hubris of Washington’s bellicose political establishment and NATO’s underreported internal quarrel wherein a politically level-headed Germany has been working to prevent the export of weapons to Ukraine.

Scottie Nell Hughes of News.Views.Hughes reports from the scene of this year’s March for Life, a yearly anti-abortion demonstration in Washington, DC. This year’s march is occurring on the backdrop of an uncertain future for the right to abortion access in the US, with pro-life measures are under consideration in the courts and Congress alike. Plus, RT America’s Alex Mihailovich reports on China’s unveiling of a first-of-its-kind “artificial Moon” simulator to test technology ahead of actual lunar missions. And RT America’s Steve Christakos joins for “Jock Talk” with this week’s highlights from the wide world of sports.
