Warsaw has illegally stranded 32 Afghan migrants on its border with Belarus, leaving them without access to clean water, shelter and medicine for weeks, despite having an obligation as an EU country to process their asylum claims.

That’s according to London-based human rights NGO Amnesty International, which, on Thursday, slammed the government in Warsaw for what it called an “unlawful forced return.”
