The group is concerned about the health of Julian Assange, under the persecution of the United States. But Stein and the group she’s organizing with are in the fight to free the political prisoner for more than just health reasons – the persecution of Assange is an attack on press freedom and democratic values too. In Naomi Karavani’s Weekly Offensive, she dishes the dirt on Elon Musk’s latest contract with The Boring Company, which is is rebranding the tunnel as a solution to urban traffic congestion. It’ll work only with personal vehicles, but many cities across the US are considering it. Musk’s tunnels won’t do anything to slow down climate change, but they will let us all make fun of rich people stuck in massive underground traffic jams.
