US President Donald Trump is reluctant to join his European allies in condemning Russia over the alleged poisoning of Alexey Navalny, telling reporters he has yet to see “any proof” that Moscow harmed the anti-corruption activist.
“I don’t know exactly what happened,” Trump told reporters Friday in a White House briefing. “It’s tragic. It’s terrible. It shouldn’t happen. We haven’t had any proof yet, but I will take a look.”
