27 Countries Seek to Purchase Russian COVID-19 Vaccine, Deputy Prime Minister Says

On 11 August, Russia registered the world’s first vaccine against the COVID-19 infection. It was developed by the Moscow-based Gamaleya Research Institute and the Russian Defence Ministry.

Twenty-seven countries have expressed a wish to purchase the Russian coronavirus vaccine, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova said.
